Mahindra began commercial production and supply of MaxSeeder zero-till machine

Mahindra & Mahindra said it has started commercial production and supply of its precision zero-till multi-crop seeding machine, MaxSeeder, manufactured under licence from Clean Seed Technologies. The machines are being made at Mahindra’s farm machinery plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, with rollout through Mahindra Farm Equipment Business dealerships initially in Punjab and Haryana.

Local production of zero-till seeding equipment can make residue-sowing more accessible to farmers, offering an alternative to stubble burning and potentially reducing input use.
