Mazagon Dock filed the only EoI to be anchor shipyard for Dighi greenfield cluster

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd was the sole entity to submit an expression of interest (EoI) issued by National Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries Park Maharashtra Ltd to select an anchor shipyard for a planned greenfield shipbuilding cluster at Dighi near Mumbai. The EoI terms require the anchor shipyard to commit at least ₹7,500 crore investment and develop shipbuilding/repair facilities with design capacity of at least 0.5 million GT per year within 10 years.
