Axis Bank launched Apple Pay support for its credit card customers in India across the Visa and Mastercard networks. Customers can add Axis Bank credit cards to Apple Wallet via the bank’s mobile app or directly in Apple Wallet and use Apple Pay for payments at merchants, in apps, and online using Apple devices.
Why it matters
This expands access to tokenised, device-based contactless payments for Axis Bank cardholders, enabling Apple Pay transactions without sharing card numbers with merchants.
