Central Railway awarded contracts for grocery kiosks at stations across five divisions

Central Railway has awarded contracts under its Non-Fare Revenue scheme to set up grocery kiosks at railway stations and premises across its five divisions (Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Bhusawal and Nagpur), following an experimental rollout in the Nagpur division.
Why it matters
These kiosks add a new passenger convenience service at stations while creating a non-fare revenue stream for the railway.
