Consumer appliance startup EDT raised $2.4 Mn (over ₹23 Cr) in an oversubscribed pre-Series A round led by existing investor Sauce.vc, with participation from existing angel investors and new participants including Alteria Capital. EDT said it will use the funds to build festive-season inventory, launch new products, expand across D2C/marketplaces/offline retail, and strengthen supply chain, teams and R&D.
Why it matters
The funding provides capital for EDT to expand product development and distribution capacity in consumer appliances (including planned launches across home, kitchen and personal care).
