Macquarie Asset Management invested $450m to buy stake in Maple InVIT

Macquarie Asset Management acquired a stake in Maple Infrastructure Trust (Maple InVIT) from La Caisse and invested about $450 million through its fourth Asia-Pacific Infrastructure Fund. The transaction was completed on 11 September 2026; Macquarie and La Caisse will jointly own controlling stakes in the InVIT’s investment manager and project manager.
Why it matters
The investment commits new capital for Maple InVIT’s road portfolio and earmarks additional equity for future toll-road acquisitions, supporting expansion of an operating transport infrastructure platform.
