Maruti Suzuki says cumulative exports of three India-made models to Japan crossed 100,000

Maruti Suzuki India said it has reached 100,000 cumulative exports to Japan of the Made-in-India Jimny 5-door, FRONX and its BEV e VITARA. The company said exports of FRONX to Japan began in August 2024, followed by Jimny 5-door in December 2024, and e VITARA in September 2025.
Why it matters
The milestone indicates sustained export demand in Japan for vehicles manufactured in India, supporting continued utilisation of India-based automotive production capacity.
