Xflow and HSBC announce India collections for global businesses

Xflow announced a partnership with HSBC to launch an “India collections” capability for global businesses, enabling them to collect payments from Indian customers using local methods including UPI, cards and net banking for online and recurring payments. The collaboration was announced at Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai, and is positioned as allowing global merchants to leverage India’s local payment infrastructure without setting up an Indian entity.
Why it matters
It can lower friction for international merchants selling to Indian customers by enabling local payment rails (including UPI), which the companies say can improve payment success rates compared with typical international card transactions.
