AERA revised landing-fee waiver rules for new international flights from Navi Mumbai airport

The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA) issued an order (8 Sep 2026) allowing a full waiver of landing charges for all new international flights launched from Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), even if airlines already operate the same route from Mumbai’s CSMIA. The order sets waiver/discount slabs by distance: flights up to 5,000 km get a 100% landing fee waiver in year one and 50% in year two; flights beyond 5,000 km also get a 25% waiver in year three.
