United Breweries announced ₹110 crore canning facility investment at Ellora brewery, Maharashtra

United Breweries Ltd disclosed in an exchange filing that it will invest ₹110 crore in a new canning facility at its Ellora brewery in Maharashtra. The company said the Ellora canning line is expected to start production by the end of September and will initially produce cans for brands including Kingfisher Strong and Kingfisher Premium.
Why it matters
Additional canning capacity can increase packaged beer output in cans, supporting supply for premium and can-led markets where returnable bottles are harder to manage.
