Vadhvan Port HAM tender deadline extended to 23 Sept after bids submitted

Vadhvan Port Project Ltd extended the bid submission deadline for its ₹22,323.47 crore Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) package covering dredging, reclamation and construction of an offshore protection bund for the planned Vadhvan port in Maharashtra. The extension moved the deadline from 17 September 2026 to 23 September 2026 after DP World (via Hindustan Ports Pvt Ltd) and a Royal Boskalis B.V.–NMDC Dredging & Marine JV submitted qualification documents/bids.
Why it matters
Extending the tender keeps the port’s largest construction package in procurement longer to attract more bidders, which can affect competition, pricing, and timelines for moving the project into contract award and execution.
