Civil Aviation Ministry announced ₹28,840 crore investment plan for UDAN over 10 years

At a Civil Aviation Consultative Committee meeting in Mysuru, the Civil Aviation Minister said the Centre will spend around ₹28,840 crore over the next 10 years to further expand the UDAN regional connectivity scheme and strengthen air connectivity across India.
Why it matters
If implemented, the funding would support additional regional air routes and related aviation infrastructure and operations capacity under UDAN.
