NHSRCL initiates capability assessment for 350 kmph indigenous B35 train

The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has initiated a capability assessment to develop the proposed B35 indigenous high-speed train, designed for speeds up to 350 kmph. The article also reports that BEML is manufacturing the B28 trainsets at its Aditya High-Speed Rail Complex in Bengaluru, with two prototype B28 trainsets expected to be ready for trials in Q1 2027.
Why it matters
