Odisha announced a ₹1,000-crore relief package for people affected by floods across six districts (Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Kendrapara). The package includes agricultural input subsidies by land type, DBT assistance for seeds, free vegetable mini-kits, subsidies for pest/disease management, repairs to damaged lift irrigation projects, and compensation for livestock and fishing-related losses, with scope for additional funds after damage assessment.
