Serendipity Space flew and recovered a near-space orbital-class satellite prototype

Serendipity Space said it successfully operated its orbital-class satellite prototype in near-space and returned it safely to Earth. The company said the mission validated heatshield systems, avionics, and an autonomous pharmaceutical manufacturing payload (“Alchemy”) carrying commercial therapeutics, describing it as India’s first successful attempt at producing pharmaceuticals outside Earth.
