Greenwave Circularity raises $31.5 million financing from OeEB for Odisha recycling plant

Greenwave Circularity raised $31.5 million (about ₹300 crore) in financing from OeEB, the Development Bank of Austria. The company said it will use the funds to develop an integrated plastic recycling facility in Odisha to recycle used PET bottles into food-grade recycled plastic once operational.
Why it matters
The funding supports creation of domestic capacity to produce food-grade recycled PET, which can help meet upcoming recycled-content requirements in plastic packaging.
