APSEZ received LoA to develop and operate two dry bulk berths at Paradip Port

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) received a Letter of Award to develop and operate the CQ-I and CQ-II dry bulk berths at Paradip Port in Odisha under a 30-year PPP concession, after emerging as the highest bidder. The company said the concession adds 18 million tonnes of mechanised dry bulk capacity to its portfolio.
Why it matters
The additional berths are intended to increase dry bulk handling capacity at a high-utilisation east coast gateway, supporting bulk flows to industrial and steel clusters in eastern and central India.
