Paradip Port inaugurated ₹427.80 crore upgrades; signed ₹1,580.36 crore mechanisation concessions

Paradip Port Authority in Odisha inaugurated seven infrastructure projects worth ₹427.80 crore, including a ₹352 crore capital dredging project to enable handling of fully laden Capesize vessels with an 18.5-metre draft, a second new bridge over Atharbanki Creek, and an Advanced Vessel Traffic Management and Information System. The port also signed concession agreements for three berth mechanisation projects worth ₹1,580.36 crore on a build-operate-transfer basis (5 MTPA South Quay, 8 MTPA multipurpose berth, and 10 MTPA captive CQ-III mechanisation).
