OpenAI to start self-service ChatGPT Ads access for advertisers in India

OpenAI said self-service access to buy ChatGPT ads via its Ads Manager will begin in India later on August 31, 2026, as part of an expansion that also includes Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. The company said this enables businesses in India, including SMBs and startups, to directly purchase ads to reach ChatGPT users.
