Origin raised $20 Mn funding round to build and deploy OG-1 construction robots

Robotics startup Origin raised $20 Mn (about ₹189 Cr) in a funding round co-led by Accel and Zacua Ventures, with participation from Unilazer Ventures, Schema Ventures and Z21, plus angel investors from Anduril, Skild AI, 1X and Tesla. The company said it will use the capital to deploy its OG-1 robot and build a fleet of construction robots, including a plan to deploy 150 robots by end-2027, and to support pilots with customers in the US and Europe.
