The Pant Project raised ₹109 Cr (about $11.5 Mn) in a Series B funding round led by Mirae Asset Venture Investments (India), with participation from existing investor Sorin Investments and other backers. The company also secured venture debt from Alteria Capital for an undisclosed amount, and said it will use the funding to expand its exclusive brand store network from 25 to 150 over the next two to three years and broaden its menswear portfolio.
Why it matters
The funding and venture debt provide committed capital for the company to expand offline retail footprint and add product lines, which can increase manufacturing, hiring, and retail activity in the apparel value chain.
