RITES dispatched first rake of 18 passenger coaches to Bangladesh Railway

RITES Limited dispatched the first rake of 18 broad-gauge passenger coaches to Bangladesh Railway on October 12, 2026, under a contract to supply 200 coaches. The coaches are being manufactured at Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, Punjab, and the rake includes 11 non-AC Shovan chair cars, three AC chair cars, two AC sleeper cars, and two AC power cars with guard room and luggage space.
