India’s Ministry of Road Transport and Highways approved a ₹2,386.08 crore project to widen the Sadhuwali–Banwala section of NH-954 and the Banwala–Hanumangarh section of NH-54 in Rajasthan to four lanes with paved shoulders, improving the corridor linking Sri Ganganagar and Hanumangarh.
Why it matters
Approval enables execution of a higher-capacity, safer road link intended to reduce congestion through populated stretches and improve district-to-district movement in northern Rajasthan.
