Rajasthan7 Oct 2026

The Solvent Extractors’ Association of India (SEA), AWL Agri Business Ltd, Solidaridad Network Asia Ltd and Bharatkhand Foundation launched ‘Sarson Sankalp’, a five-year programme to advance regenerative mustard farming in Bundi, Tonk and Jhalawar districts of Rajasthan. The programme targets 15,000 active farmers in FY2026-27, expanding to 40,000 by 2030-31, with an indicated total budget of ₹16 crore; it includes training, model and demonstration farms, soil and crop advisory, and monitoring of performance indicators.

Why it matters

If implemented as described, the programme could change on-farm practices at scale in key mustard-growing districts by providing field support and measured outcomes for regenerative methods.
