Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy wins ₹985 crore solar EPC and BESS EPC orders

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd said in a regulatory filing that it secured contracts worth more than ₹985 crore, including a 534.3 MWp solar EPC Balance-of-System package in Rajasthan from an Indian IPP and a South Africa contract for two standalone BESS projects totalling 616 MWh (2×308 MWh) as a turnkey EPC wrap.
Why it matters
These orders add committed work for building utility-scale solar generation in Rajasthan and grid-scale storage capacity abroad, expanding the company’s execution pipeline in both solar and BESS EPC.
