Kamarajar Port issued tender for ₹4,288 crore second container terminal (2 MTPA TEU)

Kamarajar Port Limited issued a tender to develop a second container terminal at an estimated cost of ₹4,288 crore under a PPP (DBFOT) model with a 40-year concession. The proposed terminal is planned for 2 million TEUs per annum in two phases, including construction of a 900-metre continuous quay and associated yard, gate and utility infrastructure.
