CMC inaugurated a 346-bed paediatric speciality centre at its Ranipet campus

Christian Medical College (CMC) inaugurated the Paediatric Speciality Centre (Fairfax-Quess Block) at its Ranipet campus. The centre has 346 beds and was built at a reported cost of ₹420 crore; about 12 paediatric departments are to be shifted from CMC’s Vellore campus to this facility, with commissioning expected in January 2027 and phased commencement of clinical departments planned for February–March 2027.
