Hyderabad-based edtech company byteXL raised $9 million, according to the company. It said the capital will be used to expand its college network, strengthen AI-led learning tools, and target reaching 500,000 engineering students across 15 states.

If deployed as stated, the funding could scale AI-focused skilling delivery through colleges to a larger base of engineering students.
