Moosarambagh high-level bridge between Amberpet and Moosarambagh inaugurated in Hyderabad

A 400-metre-long high-level bridge at Moosarambagh on one side of the Musi river was inaugurated on August 31, 2026, enabling traffic movement between Amberpet and Moosarambagh (towards Dilsukhnagar and Malakpet). The bridge replaced an earlier causeway that had deteriorated due to repeated flooding; the other parallel bridge towards Amberpet is still under work.
Why it matters
The opening provides a higher-capacity, flood-resilient crossing that reduces disruption and improves road connectivity for commuters in east Hyderabad across the Musi river.
