Leanwatts raised $2 Mn seed round to scale EV charger R&D and manufacturing

Leanwatts raised $2 Mn (around ₹18 Cr) in a seed funding round led by Trivest Partners, with participation from angel investors Abraham George and Alok Rungta. The startup said it will use the capital to accelerate R&D, strengthen its supply chain and ramp up manufacturing capabilities for its EV charging and power electronics products.
Why it matters
The funding provides committed capital for Leanwatts to expand its manufacturing and product development capacity for EV charging hardware in India.
