SCR says ₹24,210 crore rail projects covering 1,481 km are underway in Telangana and AP

South Central Railway’s General Manager said 1,481 km of new line, doubling and tripling works are in progress across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, with an estimated cost of ₹24,210.18 crore. The same update also stated that since the last financial year four pairs of new trains and five pairs of Amrit Bharat trains have been introduced, and that 14 trains were extended, 56 additional stoppages added, and 30 pairs regularised so far this year.
