Hyderabad, Telangana2 Oct 2026
SpaceX’s Transporter-18 rideshare mission launched from California carrying TakeMe2Space’s MOI-1A satellite (with EON Space Labs’ MIRA imaging system onboard) and SatLeo Labs’ TAPAS-1 thermal-imaging payload (flying on Dhruva Space’s LEAP-2 satellite), according to Inc42. The payloads are intended for in-orbit AI computing and Earth-observation imaging (thermal and multispectral).
Why it matters
Putting these payloads in orbit enables Indian startups to deliver space-based Earth-observation and in-orbit data processing services without waiting for future launches.
