TGREDCO invited tenders for 369 public EV charging stations in Telangana
Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TGREDCO) invited tenders from private charge point operators for establishment/operation, maintenance, upgradation and commercial management of 369 public EV charging stations in Telangana. The charging tariff was fixed at ₹13 per unit plus GST for customers for the contract period; 200 sites are in Greater Hyderabad/Cyberabad/Malkajgiri limits and 169 sites are in the erstwhile districts of Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Adilabad, with the 169 sites (under TGNPDCL jurisdiction) including survey, design, supply, civil works, installation, testing and commissioning responsibilities.
Issuing tenders and setting a uniform tariff is a procurement step that can enable build-out and sustained operation of public EV charging infrastructure across urban and regional Telangana.
