TAFE announced a ₹1,250 crore fifth tractor plant in north India with 60,000-unit capacity

Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd (TAFE) said it will set up its fifth manufacturing plant in a north Indian state, with the location still being decided. The company said the greenfield facility is planned for about 60,000 tractors of annual capacity and is expected to come up within 18 months, with up to ₹1,250 crore of planned spending.

If completed as planned, the added capacity would expand tractor manufacturing supply for north India and support TAFE’s domestic and export demand growth.
