Bhandai–Keetham 26.5-km bypass rail line in Agra is under construction; 82% civil work done

Construction is underway on the 26.5-km Bhandai–Keetham bypass rail line in Agra division as part of the Mathura–Jhansi third-line project (estimated cost ₹5,960.7 crore). Railway officials said the bypass is expected to be completed by 2026-12-31; railway data cited in the report says about 82% of civil work is complete, with 53 of 57 minor bridges completed and superstructure finished on 13 of 18 major bridges.
