Indian Railways commissions Kavach on the 52.5 km Agra Cantt–Dholpur section

Indian Railways commissioned its automatic train protection system, Kavach, on the 52.5 km Agra Cantt–Dholpur rail section. With this commissioning, the Palwal (Haryana) to Dholpur (Rajasthan) route is now covered by Kavach, while installation on the Delhi–Palwal section is still in progress.
Why it matters
Extending Kavach coverage on this corridor strengthens train safety and supports plans to raise maximum speeds on the Delhi–Agra section from 130 kmph to 160 kmph.
