Escorts Kubota announced a ₹2,000 crore greenfield plant in YEIDA, Uttar Pradesh

Escorts Kubota announced an indicative investment outlay of over ₹2,000 crore to set up a new manufacturing plant on 154 acres at Sector 10 in the YEIDA industrial area (Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority), Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, according to a regulatory filing. The plant is planned to be developed in phases and is intended to manufacture tractors, farm implements, construction equipment and engines; the company said the first phase targets capacity expansion of up to 60,000 tractors and 15,000 construction equipment units per year.
