Railways approved a daily Kanpur Central–Anand Vihar Terminal Mail train service

The railway ministry approved the introduction of a daily overnight Mail service between Kanpur Central (Uttar Pradesh) and Anand Vihar Terminal (Delhi) as Train No. 14153/14154. The ministry said the 428-km service will have eight commercial stops: Phaphund, Etawah, Tundla, Hathras, Aligarh, Khurja, Dadri and Ghaziabad.
Why it matters
A daily overnight train adds scheduled passenger capacity and connectivity between Kanpur and the National Capital Region via intermediate cities on the corridor.
