Waaree Energies announced merger of group firm Indosolar in ₹9.5 billion deal

Waaree Energies and Indosolar said they will merge Indosolar into Waaree Energies in a transaction valued at ₹9.5 billion (about $99.23 million). Under the announced terms, Indosolar shareholders would receive 1 share of Waaree Energies for every 11 shares held.
Why it matters
If completed, the merger would consolidate cell and module manufacturing within one listed entity and simplify the group structure, which the companies said would reduce costs.
