Foundation stone laid for ₹4,000 crore Adani Arogya Mandir in New Town, West Bengal

Adani Group announced it will invest over ₹4,000 crore to build the proposed Adani Arogya Mandir in New Town, West Bengal, and held a foundation stone-laying (bhumi pujan) ceremony for the project. The planned facility is described as a 2,000-bed not-for-profit medical institution, with a medical college and advanced medical research and healthcare facilities; 1,000 beds are planned to be reserved for economically weaker sections under state and central health insurance schemes.
