Northeast Frontier Railway recreated Sukna station and opened a DHR photo gallery

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) recreated the historic Sukna railway station in West Bengal as part of efforts to preserve and promote the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) Toy Train heritage. NFR’s general manager also inaugurated a photo gallery at Sukna station with historic DHR photographs, each linked to QR codes for visitor information.
Why it matters
The restored station setup and new on-site interpretation (photo gallery with QR-linked information) adds visitor-facing heritage infrastructure for the UNESCO-listed Darjeeling Himalayan Railway.
